Planning and buying a new floor can be an exciting time, but could also be costly if considerations are not given to the floor covering you wish to have.
We believe at JCHFlooring that with the correct advice in the the early stages will save you time and money.
How it works
You invite JCHFlooring to your home to where we show you the appropriate samples requested and construct a survey, this includes a detailed measure of the area to be covered, humidity testing (very important for natural product installation), inspect the subfloor for unevenness and damage. All these things will effect your new floor and should be properly dealt with before any installation.
Then we talk to ensure all requirements can be realistically met. Some times floor coverings will not work in certain areas, if this is the case then we will advise you of alternatives. The only bias we have is towards quality products that we know have a history of being reliable.
We then send you a estimate to install and supply your chosen floor covering. It has been found that poor planning in the estimation process can lead to extra cost, making the cost more than the estimated quote. Unfortunately this has been known to lead to disputes that cost even more time and money. Due to our comprehensive survey we will eliminate any extra cost as our quote is the quote you will pay.
Our planning will limit wastage material to a minimum, saving you money and we use safe products that are friendly to our environment.
If you choose us to install your flooring, we will then agree on a installation date (normally two weeks after acceptance of estimate). We will advise you on acclimisation periods required prior installation. Once the fitting commences you will see why we pride ourselves on quality workmanship, our fitters will not be clockwatching, just insuring that your floor covering is properly installed.
